Sorry, I know I said I'd update the list a few days ago, but I'm getting around to do it now. I've spent the last few days working and suffering through a nasty ear infection. Right now I think it's just the one ear, but my other is beginning to give some odd popping pains every now and then.

Anywho...

44. Slow Burn By Julie Garwood. Thriller. Someone is out to kill Kate MacKenna, only she doesn't know all the bad things happening to her aren't accidents until her best friend's brother shows up. With her life, her business and her sanity at risk, Kate's got to figure out who wants her gone. Good read; Id forgotten how much I liked this story.

45. Like Water for Chocolate By Laura Esquirel Romance. As the youngest daughter, Tita is destined to live a life alone to care for her mother, as it has been done for every generation in her family. She watches as the love of her life marries her sister and her world falls apart around her. Using her passion for cooking, Tita is able to show her desire while still living the life her mother choose for her. The recipes sounded good, thinking of trying a few.

46. Light My Fire By Katie MacAlister. Paranormal Thriller. Aisling is back again, training to become a Guardian, only to have her life turned upside down when Draco is challenged for his position and she is force to become the Blue Wyvern's mate. To make things worse, she is tricked into becoming a Prince of Hell. Laugh out loud. I love her.

47. Holy Smokes By Katie MacAlister. Paranormal Thriller. Draco and Aisling are trying to tie the knot, but things aren't going well. First, Ashling has to save Draco from prison, bring Jim back to life and step down as a Prince of Hell, the whole time dealing with morning sickness. Wonderfully sweet ending and thank God they ended up together.

48. The Secret By Julie Garwood. Romance. In order to keep a promise to a childhood friend, Judith must leave her home in England and travel to the Highlands of Scotland, only to fall in love with a man who claims to be an enemy to her father. Good book to read between heavy books.

49. The Dharma Bums By Jack Kerouac. Fiction. Story of a young man's journey across the country as well as to Enlightenment. Took me a while to get into, but I loved the mountain climbing parts.

50. The Lion's Lady By Julie Garwood. Romance. Cristina, raised by Indians, must return to England, the land of her grandfather only to have her father search for a way to kill her. I needed a quick read and this was on top of a stack of books.

51. Deadly Decisions By Kathy Reichs. Thriller. Temperance volunteers to work on a task force the works with cases involving biker gangs. When her nephew comes to visit and falls into the crowd Tempe's investigation, she must find a way to protect him. Very exciting and will ready again some day.

That's it for now, I will update later.
